Welcome to Ellison Behavior Consulting, Inc.  We are a small business located in Southeast Indiana that provides Medicaid Waiver services to intellectually disabled adults and children. At Ellison Behavior Consulting we strive to improve the lives of our clients by providing the highest quality of individualized therapeutic services while maintaining professional integrity.

Amy Meyer, Psy.D., HSPP 

Dr. Amy Meyer is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and owner of Ellison Behavior Consulting. Amy received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Heidelberg College and went on to obtain her Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Ball State University. After completing her Master's she relocated to Fort Wayne, Indiana where she fell in love with providing behavioral services to intellectually disabled adults and children. While working in Fort Wayne, she also completed her Doctorate Degree at the Adler School of Professional Psychology.  She has been providing behavioral services for nineteen years and has experience working with a variety of behavioral issues.

Eric Gnagey, MT-BC

Eric graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in music therapy in 2010 and is a board certified music therapist living in Cincinnati. In 2011, Eric completed his music therapy internship in Columbus, OH at Bridgeway Academy, an education and therapy
center for children with developmental disabilities. Eric spent the next three years working for a non-profit music therapy organization,
Melodic Connections, in Cincinnati, OH. There, he taught adapted guitar and piano groups and helped with the adult day program. He also taught adapted night classes for choral singing, guitar, and small ensemble. Beginning in 2013, along with two other music therapists from Melodic Connections, Eric helped bring music therapy into some
public school classrooms in Cincinnati, OH. Eric joined on with Ellison Behavior Consulting in January of 2015 and is thoroughly
enjoying the world of contracting music therapy services. Eric enjoys the opportunity to get to know his clients with Ellison on a one-on-one basis, which he believes is the foundation to a successful therapeutic relationship.

Kathleen Barnett, M.Ed.,M.Ed.

Kathleen Barnett is a wife and mother of two who lives in Northern Kentucky. She has been a behavior consultant since 2012. Kathleen graduated summa cum laude from the University of Louisville with a B.A. in psychology and received graduate degrees in school psychology and mental health counseling from the University of Cincinnati and the University of Louisville, respectively

Paige Fath-Hollowell, MT-BC

Paige, a native of Cincinnati, is a board certified music therapist who has been with Ellison Behavior Consulting, INC since October of 2016. Paige received her Bachelor's degree from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in Terre Haute, Indiana. She has extensive experience from multiple practicum sites while obtaining her degree including an acute psych unit in a hospital setting, multiple settings in day programs with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and children in special education settings. Following her coursework, Paige completed her internship at Southbury Training School in Southbury, Connecticut which is an institution for older adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Paige moved to several different states post internship before finding herself back in Cincinnati and working for Ellison Behavior Consulting.

Katy Abt, MT-BC, Neurologic Music Therapist

Katy is from Harrison, OH. She graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Music degree. She completed her music therapy internship at the Kennedy Krieger Instutite in Balitmore MD working with children on the Autism Spectrum. Katy is a board-certifified music therapist and has been working for Ellison Behavior Consulting since May 2017. She recently completed her training to become a Neurologic Music Therapist from the International Neurologic Music Therapy Training Institute. In May 2015 Katy went to Jamaica as part of the Jamaican Field Service Project providing music enrichment to those in need in the St. Elizabeth Parish. Katy is a member of the Cincinnati Donauschwaben Society (a German heritage group) and dances with the Donauschwaben Youth Group and the Donauscwaben Schuplatterlers.

Darlene Maidlow, CTRS

Darlene is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist and mother of two.

Samantha Thamann, MS

Samantha Thamann is a Behavior Consultant from Cincinnati, Ohio. Samantha earned her B.S. in psychology from Mount St Joseph University in 2015, and continued to earn her M.S. in psychology from Indiana Institute of Technology in 2017. Samantha is also a mother to two young children who keep her very active (and exhausted) while at home. In her very limited spare time, Samantha enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her family and pets. She especially loves a good family game night! While working with Ellison Behavior Consulting, Samantha hopes she can help individuals learn to cope with difficult emotions and become valuable, contributing members of their community..
